Starting at the parking lot (6,000ft), I climbed till the last lift (8,540ft). It probably is the highest altitude I have achieved by hiking/climbing so far.

Cloudys coming and gone. Mountains break out and emerges. It's just stunning beatiful.

The summit of Mt. Hood was just another 2,700ft away and seemed really reachable.
